Name: Mallory A. Perry, MS, RN, CPN
Designation: PhD Candidate, University of Connecticut School of Nursing

Mallory A. Perry"I am excited and honored to receive the ENRS/CANS Dissertation Award. Receiving this award is a testament to both the Eastern Nursing Research Society and the Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science’s commitment to the future of nursing research. The support provided by ENRS and CANS will afford me the ability to conduct valuable, precision health research in pediatric surgical populations. My goal of generating nursing-led interventions based on genomic, biological and psychosocial factors of the child, will be made possible with this award. The funds provided will allow for the purchase of outstanding genetic assays and related laboratory supplies. In addition, it will assist in providing a token of appreciation to the brave children who are undergoing scoliosis surgery and willing to participate in my dissertation study."
